Traditionally Tuscan decor

The estate hosts ten apartments, some in the immediate vicinity of the medieval castle (access is via the old stone-paved courtyard also hosting the wineshop and cellar). The other apartments, nearby, were once an old farmhouse known as Le Giuncaie.
The apartments are in the old Tuscan rustic style: the beams are bare and the floors are paved with terracotta tiles. The flats include a kitchenette, independent heating, satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Chianti Classico

Castello di Querceto is the ideal starting point for day trips not only in the Chianti Classico area itself but also to Tuscany’s splendid towns and cities, renowned for their artistic treasures: Florence (just 30 km away), Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo.

Utmost tranquillity!

The castle stands amid vineyards and the verdant hills of Chianti. Go for a stroll along oak- and chestnut-shaded pathways. The Tuscan summer heat often drives guests indoors, but we also have a swimming pool (14 by 6 metres) with chaise longue, sun beds and sunshades.

Nimphaea

The Nimphaea (nymphaea) apartment is on the first floor of the “Le Giuncaie” farmhouse’s hay barn space. Nimphaea has its own private outdoor area (a marvellously sheltered garden with a sunshade, a dining table, seats and a chaise longue).

The Magnolia apartment is on the ground floor of the “Le Giuncaie” farmhouse’s hay barn space. Magnolia has its own private outdoor area facing the vineyard – a generously proportioned stoned-paved yard with a sunshade, a dining table, seats and a chaise longue.

The Gardenia apartment is on the first floor of the farmhouse, “Le Giuncaie”. Access is via the front door, below the gallery. Gardenia shares the entrance with three other flats.
