Wine-tasting at the castle

At our wineshop, visitors may sample our products in the company of an expert, and learn about the varieties and flavours of our products (which are also on sale). You can sample our wines, charged by the glass, or attend instructive ‘themed’ wine-tasting sessions.

Wine and food

Snacks are also provided, consisting in traditional Tuscan specialities such as cold meats, cheeses and ‘bruschetta’ (toasted bread seasoned with a dash of garlic and our own extra virgin olive oil…)

The ‘classico’ visit

In the company of a guide, visitors may view the castle’s exteriors and old defence works, the wine-making cellar, the ageing cellar and our ‘wine archive’ with bottles dating back to the first ‘vendemmie’ (grape harvests) of the early twentieth century.

For the final stage of the visit, we suggest stopping off at the wineshop to taste 3 typical wines from our range of products.

The ‘history’ visit

The visit also takes us inside the castle, to the old tower and the chapel (which is still consecrated).

The castle gardens

Visitors may enjoy the castle gardens (unaccompanied visits). The garden boast a variety of plant species and citrus fruit trees. We offer a complimentary map detailing a number of plants of special interest or that are considered not a part of Tuscany’s flora.
