Apartments in Chianti Classico
Castello di Querceto is certainly the ideal base for day trips not only in Florentine Chianti Classico, but also in Tuscany’s splendid historic towns such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo and Pisa.
The estate has apartments used as agriturismo, some of which are directly at the company headquarters, just a short distance from the medieval Castle, accessed from the old stone courtyard over which both the wine shop and the old ageing cellars look out.
The other apartments have been carved out of an old farmhouse building with hay barn called Le Giuncaie, like the vineyard adjoining it, just a short distance from the Castle. This historic farmhouse built in stone, ancient house of settlers, is encircled by a cool, well-equipped garden.
